Today was the last day of the project “Sharing is Caring – EU version” for the 5th graders in Petraro Elementary School. During four lessons we have been discussing, sharing and playing games in english about the Eurpean Union with the students. Each lesson we also had one more topic to talk about such as: hobbies, vacation/holidays and the city, to develop and practise the english language and vocabulary even more.
In the last lesson we talked about the European Union values. The students shared their own thoughts, opinions and knowledge about some of the values and we wrote them down together. What is freedom? What is peace? What is equality? It was very interesting to see their points of view and down below you can also see the result.
It has been really fun to get to know the students, talk with them, share experiences, opinions and knowledge. We hope that we can return and maybe meet them in person next time!
