How do I apply for volunteering?

Are you interested in volunteering and would like to apply for an ESC experience? Here is how to apply:

The first thing that you have to do is to press this link and register. You have to create your own profile; add information about yourself, your CV, personal interests, competences etc. Also, when you have an account, you can filter what countries you would like to go to, what projects you are interested in and for how long.
When your profile is created you can start to apply for different projects and organizations. Since you already have a profile the only thing that you have to do is to press the button APPLY. Sometimes the hosting organization wants a short motivation why you want to apply for their project in specific, but not always.
The organization will take a look at all the applications and if you seem like a good participant for their project, they will contact you for a further selection process. Here you will, most likely, have to attend an interview to talk more about the project and its conditions.
If they select you, you will recieve an offer of the project where you decide if you want to participate or not. Make sure to have a sending organization.
Your sending and hosting organizations will start to prepare all the documents that you need for your new experience and then you are good to go!

Other ways to find opportunities:

Since your profile is on the platform, organizations can also contact you if they think that you are a good fit for their project. So make sure that your profile is updated and describes you well and you will for sure recieve contact requests!

Another way to be a volunteer is to search for a sending organization in your own country and contact them. They can help you to find projects since they most likely have partners around Europe. If you are italian, you can contact us, we will answer all your questions and do our best to help you find the perfect project for you.

The last option is to look for projects in Facebook groups. There are many groups on Facebook (search for ESC, EVS) where organizations upload their projects looking for participants. In this way you directly get a closer contact with the responsible and can begin the selection process.
