Earlier this month, from 8th to 16th of October, our organization had the pleasure to host another youth exchange, “Story telling 4 peace”. The project took part in the beautiful Castellammare di Stabia and it has as the main topic peace and refugees.
Because we wouldn’t like to keep this awesome experience just for ourselves and we would like to encourage every young people to take part in projects like this, we will share with you the results and conclusions of this.
“Story telling 4 peace” was a youth exchange co-funding by the Erasmus- programme, dedicated to the young people coming from Italy, Romania, Spain, Bulgaria, Latvia and Belgium. It has as aims to raise awarness, inform and encourage the European values.
Coming from different home realities, with different backgrounds, mind sets and belifes, the participants had the chance to discuss, share and learn about topics such as refugees, hate speech and discrimination.
The participants also had the chance to put in practice their creativity when they had to use grafitti as a tool to promote peace and when they had to do a video on the same topic.
